Off The Grid Trip Info for 2025

  • Our 3.5 day all inclusive trips include camping, fly fishing, shooting, hiking, ice bathing, and talking around campfires with the focus on what does it mean to be a man in today’s society? We aim to answer that question by instilling a standard for men to follow. Responsible men, in turn, will create responsible men. Iron sharpens iron.

We are a community aiming to answer the hardest questions asked of men: What does your heart, soul, and mind desire? What do you need to do to be a better husband, father, brother, and friend? Don’t fight this battle alone. Get off the grid and redefine your path.

This trip is not psychotherapy. Please be advised that Off the Grid Therapy does not qualify as a clinical psychological service.Acknowledge that this trip is not providing health care, medical or psychological services, or attempting to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any physical, mental or emotional issue, disease or condition.

There’s a few different options for flying in for California Trips:

Option 1: fly into Ontario California, Long Beach, or John Wayne on Wednesday, the night before we leave, and stay in a local hotel. Then, we all head out on the road as a caravan group Thursday morning at 7am for the 3.5-4 hour drive.

Option 2: fly in to Mammoth. Mammoth is really close to where we camp, so it wouldn’t be a long drive to meet us. This airport is small, so flights are typically a little more pricey.

*Travel accommodations to and from airport are not included. It is your responsibility to meet up with the caravan at 7am on Thursday.

There’s a few different options for flying in for Idaho Trips:

Option 1: Fly in to Boise on Wednesday, the night before we leave, and stay in a local hotel. Then, we all head out on the road as a caravan group Thursday morning at 7am for the 3.5 hour drive.

Option 2: Fly in to Salt Lake City, Utah and drive to Boise to the meet up location.

Due to rising flight complications, we always recommend flying in the day before.

    Driving:

If you plan on driving yourself, once you book the trip, you’ll have a 1 on 1 call with one of our leaders to go over logistics and we’ll figure out the best place to meet up with the caravan.

If you plan to drive your own vehicle during the duration of the trip, including off roading, we highly encourage your vehicle to have off road capabilities and is running in great shape. We are not responsible for any damage to your personal vehicle.

  • Click the buttons on this page and you’ll be directed to our trip application. Once you fill out the application, we will review it and you’ll receive an invoice via email. The invoice must be paid within 24 hours of receiving it or the spot goes to the next person in line & you’ll be added to the waiting list.

Spots are filled on a first come, first served basis.

Once your deposit or full payment is made via the emailed invoice, we will set up a 1 on 1 call with you and one of our trip leaders to go over any questions you have + get you prepped for the trip about a month out from your trip date! The week(s) leading up to the trip, we will start a group chat with all the men attending so everyone can get to know one another.

Trip Cancellation Policy: Trip cancellations need to be received in writing to Off the Grid Therapy at a minimum of 30 days before the trip date; the total amount received (deposit or full payment) will then be held as credit towards any future trips within 1 year from that date. The credit expires 1 year after issued.

Cancellations initiated by the participant received in writing to Off The Grid Therapy within 29 or less days notice before the trip start date will forfeit their deposit and any balance payments as a cancellation fee.

If Off The Grid Therapy has to cancel a trip due to conditions beyond our control including but not limited to weather, fires, floods, earthquakes, natural disasters or any unforeseen emergencies, you will then be credited the full balance and therefore no payment for another trip in the future is necessary, or you can choose to have a full refund of the amount paid.

No refunds will be provided for any reason for an unused portion of a trip once the trip begins, including if you leave a trip for any reason or have to be removed from a trip. The trip price is a package cost and refunds and credits are not available for services not used.

What men from past trips are saying…

  • Austin J.

“I had the distinct pleasure of attending OTG Therapy with an outstanding group of men. What I thought was just a camping trip, turned out to be a life-changing experience set deep in the wilderness of the eastern Sierras. The premise is simple: strip away society and exist without pretense. What comes next is authentic community and vulnerability. Simple, but powerful. We spent 4 days mixing outdoor activities with deep conversation. A lot was shared, a lot was let go, and a lot was gained. If you are burnt out, have suffered a traumatic event, or simply need to reset, I highly recommend you give these guys a look. Your future self will thank you. Onward and upward.”

  • Shane E.

"In todays culture men are seeking a place and a community where their masculinity can be grown, fostered and appreciated, rather ridiculed. Off the grid therapy was that place for me. It is a time and place that allows me to reflect on not only my strengths but also my weaknesses in a community of men that truly desire to make each other better. I learned new skills and experienced the beauty of creation. It helped me reset my priorities in my life and make me a better man, friend, husband and soon to be father. To any man looking for the same thing this is your community. I can't wait to be part of this organization for years to come."

  • Jeff D.

"Originally, I was a little skeptical going on a camping trip with 8-10 guys that I had never met. I had never even camped before! However, once I met Brock and the rest of the guys, I felt immediately welcome and comfortable. After the first night, I was so thankful I chose to come. And after the full weekend came to a close, I wish I could be back in the wilderness again with the guys. It truly is a memorable experience that I would recommend every man to go on. Brock knows how to take care of you, challenge and grow you in ways you haven’t experienced before."

  • Elliot B.

“As a man, there are many expectations placed on us today where it can feel overwhelming and sometimes even impossible. This group helped me change that mindset. It is a group that allows me to both help others and be helped by others because as much as it feels like it, we are not alone. We all have similar but different experiences. We are stronger together and this experience helped bring me into a community of like-minded men to live life together. This is a trip for any man to take at any stage of life.”

  • Zach N.

“OTG has been a huge help in my growth as a man. One of my favorite activities is fire pit time; 10 guys (some who know each other and some who don’t) gather around a fire and open up and allow themselves to be sharpened by other men who’ve walked in a certain way. It’s wonderful.”

  • Joe M.

“Off the grid really did something to me brother. I feel like a new man with a new energy I haven’t felt before. It really planted a seed of wanting to help and serve others. It was hard to get back to work at first but now I’ve been able to transfer that same energy into every day life. I really appreciate you and the community you’ve created brother!”

  • Miles D.

Can’t say enough about this Off the grid trip! Not only was it a great time but Brock went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and part of the group. It’s a bit intimidating signing up to go camping with 10 guys you’ve never met but I’m sure glad I did. This was a perfect reset and grounding that I’ve been needing. Camping, fishing and exploring was just what my heart was craving. In todays world we get cought up with the day to day rat race and we forget just how beautiful life can be when we make time to explore and reflect on ourselves outside of 4 walls. I’d highly recommend getting out of your comfort zone and take a chance on this trip. You’ll be glad you did!

  • Austin S.

“This trip was everything I didn’t know I was missing. Vulnerability, growth, and meaningful connection—it was all there. It reminded me of the importance of being present, both for myself and for the people I care about. I’ll be returning every summer. Every man needs this opportunity to step back and recalibrate.”

  • Logan B.

“I came on this trip looking for peace and quiet, but I walked away with so much more. The conversations, challenges and moments of reflection completely shifted my mind. I didn’t know what to expect, but what I found was a group of men who genuinely cared and supported each other. Sharing stories, struggles, and victories around the campfire showed me that I’m not alone. I came back with more than just memories..I gained a brotherhood.”
